Leonard Mynx will be playing the innaugural Portland Folk Festival on August, 22. The Porltand Folk Festival was created by the venerable Slim Moon, Amanda Stark and Chantelle Hylton-Simmons. Read more and see the full line up here.

Leonard Mynx is going to be performing as part of the Gulf Songs Oregon benefit concert series at Mississippi Studios on September 2nd. All proceeds from this event go to help the people of the Gulf States coping with the oil spill disasater.

Leonard Mynx will be doing a surprise set at the Doug Fir in Portland on June 29 featuring all new songs.

The new Leonard Mynx record "Son of the Famous So and So" will be coming out in October! This record features 12 songs and many guest performers from some of our favorite bands such as Norfolk and Western, Audie Darling, Laura Gibson, Horsefeathers, MWard, Weinland, On The Stairs, Shoeshine Blue, Carcrashlander and more.

A wonderful new music website, Indie Hearts, out of Argentina, has posted an interview with Leonard Mynx.

Dates for a spring tour to the Northeast have been solidified. We will have stops all over New York, New England and points in between.
